Meet Dr. Ken
Ken Feldman, PhD is a Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt and Owner of Optec Consulting. He has more than 50 years of experience helping organizations improve quality and performance in such diverse industries as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, steel, corrugated containers, printing, higher education, chemicals, food products, paper, U.S. Military, financial services, electronics, automotive, paint, ink, and others.
Prior to founding Optec Consulting, Ken was the Senior Director of Rapid Continuous Improvement at Dr Pepper Snapple Group. Previously Ken was a Principal with Accenture Consulting, SVP in the Quality and Productivity Group at Bank of America, District Director of Performance Improvement at the North Broward Hospital District (Florida) and worked at GE Capital doing global LSS training and coaching.
Ken has also taught Operations Management and Quality Management in higher education including undergraduate, graduate, Executive MBA and MBA classes at the University of Miami, Florida Atlantic University, and the University of Phoenix. He is a sought-after presenter at quality improvement conferences and other professional gatherings.
Ken has a dual Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Psychology with the distinction of having Dr. W. Edwards Deming, the esteemed quality Guru on his Doctoral Committee. He also holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and a Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.

Strategy - I can help develop strategy, execution and deployment for an improvement effort at the local, national or global level.
Training - I offer Lean Six Sigma training for all color of Belts either online or onsite. I can also develop custom training focusing on data-driven decision or just the basic tools of improvement.
Curriculum development - If you already have a training program for Lean Six Sigma, I can help adapt, revise and improve it.
Coaching - I offer group or one-on-one coaching for projects and senior leadership either online or onsite.
Facilitation - I can facilitate project team meetings or senior leadership sessions.
Shoulder to cry on - I can try to answer and help leadership teams through the trials and tribulations of trying to improve their organizations.
